PURPOSE: To provide an induction heated roller device, with which uniform distribution of heat in the circumferential direction can be obtained easily without enlargement of the construction, the weight is reduced, and the thermal responsiveness is improved.

CONSTITUTION: A number of gutters 13 with both ends closed are formed on a metal plate 12. The metal plate 12 is rounded and inserted into a roller 1 in such a way that the opening face of the gutter confronts the inside surface of the roller 1. The two ends of each gutter 13 and the area between gutters are attached fast to the inside surface of the roller 1. The inside of each gutter 13 is used as a jacket chamber, in which a thermo-medium of two phases, gas and liquid, is decompressedly encapsulated.
