Abstract:
PURPOSE:To improve the rotating performance of a motor by covering either one surface of a commutator segment or a brush with an organic material which contains at least one of paraffin, phthalic acid ester and silicon compounds. CONSTITUTION:After the surface of a commutator 1 or a brush 2 is polished, it is cleaned, and covered with an organic material 3 which contains at least one of paraffin, phthalic acid ester silicon compounds. A coating method is a dropping, and the thickness of the film is 0.5-200mum by a method of dipping in organic solvent. Thus, the sliding property between the commutator and the brush is improved to suppress the production of frictional powder, to prevent organic gas from being externally adsorbed, thereby improving the rotating performance.
