Abstract:
PURPOSE:To eliminate only grid component with high density by setting a cut-off frequency corresponding to the grid frequency obtained by an analysis means and eliminating the frequency component by the grid in sampled radiant ray picture information with a low pass filter. CONSTITUTION:A low pass filter 21 whose cut-off frequency is variable is provided between a log amplifier 13 and a sample-and-hold circuit 14 and part of the picture data is read preliminarily and when a grid is detected therein, the cut-off frequency to interrupt the grid is analyzed and automatically set to the low pass filter 21. Thus, even in the case of high density grid not visually observed, only the grid component is completely eliminated, required picture information is passed and diagnosis is implemented without giving any effect to the system.
