Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide an opposed surface engaging fastener member having a fixing means capable of easily and reliably fixing a base part to an object surface. CONSTITUTION: This opposed surface engaging fastener member 10 has a base part 12 and plural headed projecting pieces 14 erected on the base part 12. The respective headed projecting pieces 14 have a leg part 16 projecting in an almost erect shape from the base part 12 and a head part 18 connected to the tail end of the leg part 16. An extension part 28 to fix the base part 12 to an object surface is formed on the reverse 26 of the base part 12. The extension part 28 has a locking part 32 to engage with the object surface. The extension part 28 is integrally formed with the base part 12 in a casting mold to mold the base part 12 in a molding process of the opposed surface engaging fastener member 10. Therefore, since the extension part 28 is firmly connected to the base part 12 and is also excellent in reproducibility, a uniform fixing function is imparted to a large number of opposed surface engaging fastener members.
