Abstract:
PURPOSE:To operate a driven unit while regenerating electric power by rotating the stator side of a generator with the generator as a power transmission, mounting the drive unit on a shaft and inputting power. CONSTITUTION:An engine shaft 1, a motor rotor 2, a generator stator 4 supported by bearings 7, 8, and a generator rotor 3 rotating therein are coupled directly to a mounting base 6 to mount a driven unit on a shaft 5, and engine power is inputted to generator electric power. Generated electric power is again inputted through a slip ring 9 to the motor 2. The generators 3, 4 in which generated powers are consumed increase electromotive forces to become output torque for operating the driven unit mounted on the shaft 5, and the regenerative electric power engine power energy can be saved by reusing as the regenerative power the balancing energy between the load of the driven unit mounted on the shaft 5 and the power for the motor 2.
