PURPOSE: To make the pas material usable as a barometer for easily checking a health condition, physical condition, etc., as dyestuff discoloring with pH discolors when wet with the body fluid, such as a discharge from the womb and the degree of discoloration of visible from the front surface or rear surface of the pad material for body fluid absorption.
CONSTITUTION: This pad material is formed by sticking the dyestuff 2 discoloring with pH to a body 1. More preferably, the pad material is formed by sticking the dyestuff 2 discoloring with pH in the form of ink to the body part 1. Further, the body part 1 is composed of at least a surface material 1a, an absorbent 1b and a waterproof layer 1c. This surface material 1a is formed of a blank material having a see-through property and may be formed by sticking the dyestuff 2 discoloring with pH to the surface of the absorbent 1b. An equally good alternative is to form the body part of at least the surface material 1a, the absorbent 1b and the waterproof layer 1c, to form the waterproof layer 1c of the blank material having the see-through property and to stick the dyestuff 2 discoloring with pH to the inside surface of the waterproof layer 1c.
