Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide the titled composition having rapid curability, free from corrosiveness, giving a cured product having excellent surface rubber elasticity, and compounded with a compound containing polyoxyalkylene chain to prevent the hydrolytic resinification of a nitrogen-containing compound used as an alcohol acceptor.

CONSTITUTION: The objective composition is produced by compounding (A) a terminal-reactive polydiorganosiloxane of formula I (R and R1 are univalent hydrocarbon group; R2 is 1W4C alkyl or a univalent group selected from alkoxyalkyl having a total C number of 1W6; a is 0 or 1; n is a number to give the component A having a viscosity of 100W500,000cP at 25°C), (B) a silane compound of formula II (R3 is univalent hydrocarbon; R4 is same as R2; b is 0 or 1) or its partial hydrolytic condensation product, (C) 0.01W10pts.wt., based on 100pts.wt. of A+B, of a curing catalyst, (D) 0.5W10pts.wt. of a silicon compound wherein N is bonded through C to Si, and said N is bonded to said Si or other Si, and (E) 0.05W50pts.wt. of a compound containing polyoxyalkylene chain. The amount of the component B in A+B is 85W100wt%.
