PURPOSE: To provide a contact lens care product fit for all sorts of contact lenses including hard and soft contact lenses and a flexible or high gas permeable contact lens by incorporating aminopropylbiguanide or its salt and tromethamol or its homologue as a buffer.

CONSTITUTION: This contact lens care product contains aminopropylbiguanide or its salt and a tris-buffer (tromethamol), its ≤10C homologue or its salt as a buffer. The aminopropylbiguanide is especially represented by formula I [where (n) is an integer of 1-500]. The tromethamol and its ≤10C, preferably 5-7C homologue is preferably a compd. represented by formula II or its salt. In the formula II, each of (x), (y) and (z) is an integer of at least 1 and 3≤x+y+z≤9, preferably 3≤x+y+z≤6. This contact lens care product has an antibacterial properties and detergent action.
