Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prevent the back flow of a refrigerant by inserting a cylindrical spacer with a cylindrical barrier while being brought into contact with the internal pipe of a refrigerant transfer pipe to a gap section where a rotor bayonet on the static side of a superconducting generator and the refrigerant transfer pipe on the revolution side are superposed. CONSTITUTION:Liquid helium 7 for cooling is discharged from a rotor bayonet 1 on the static side of a superconducting generator. Liquid helium 7 is made to flow to the rotor body side along the internal pipe 3 of a refrigerant transfer pipe 2 on the revolution side by centrifugal force, and one part is vaporized and changed into gas helium 8, and fed into the rotor body side. A cylindrical spacer 11 is mounted brought into contact with the internal pipe 3 to a section where the rotor bayonet 1 and the internal pipe 3 of the refrigerant transfer pipe 2 are superposed, and a cylindrical barrier 10 is installed at the nose of the cylindrical spacer 11. Accordingly, the title refrigerant conveyor is assembled simply, and the back flow of a refrigerant is prevented.
