Abstract:
In known stationary or semi-suspended rescue baskets, in particular those whose pivot axis is situated outside the axis through the centre of gravity, high displacement forces occur which are necessary for swinging the basket, with respect to the ladder, in the different working positions and in the non-used position. The high displacement forces for the most part require plurality of drive units together with a comparatively high energy requirement. The rescue or work basket (2) comprises, at the least, one rotary bar (5), preferably outside the pivot axis (1) of the rescue basket (2). This means that particularly the drive for displacing the basket can be of small design.
