PURPOSE: To obtain a dye mixture in the cyan domain suitable for thermal transfer by compounding an anthraquinone dye having the absorption maximum at a specific wavelength and a specific dye.
CONSTITUTION: A dye mixture contains at least one anthraquinone dye having the absorption maximum at the 600-750 nm wave length and at least one dye shown by formulae I, II, III, IV and/or V. In the formulae, L1 is 1-20C alkyl or the like; L2 is 5- or 6-membered carbocyclic group or heterocyclic group; L3 is cyano group or the like; L4 is O or the like; X is CH or N; L5 is H or 1-4C alkyl; each of L6 and L7 is H or 1-12C alkyl; Y is cyano group or the like; L8 is H, F or the like; L9 is H, F or the like; L10 is 1-8C alkyl or the like; L11 is F, Cl or the like; L12 is H or 1-4C alkyl; L13 is H, F or the like.
