Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a seat device giving a driver a stable sitting feeling without strain on his spine so as to get hardly tired even in the case of performing driving operation on the seat for many hours.
CONSTITUTION: The upper part 11 and a lower part 13 of the cushion body 10a of a seat back 10 are moved forward by a thorax adjusting mechanism 30 interlocked with the longitudinal movement of a seat cushion 17 so as to be suitably adjusted into the optimum thorax support attitude.
