PURPOSE: To form firm paint films by one time of baking by coating a primer on a conductive surface then sticking a perfluoroalkoxy resin thereon by electrostatic painting and heating and baking the same under specific conditions.
CONSTITUTION: A primer is coated beforehand on a conductive surface, for example, the polished and degreased surface of an aluminum plate. A perfluoroalkoxy resin is stuck thereon by electrostatic painting without baking. Thereafter, the perfluoroalkoxy resin is heated for about 10W30min at about 80W 300°C below the m.p. (305°C) of said resin to allow the volatile components to evaporate completely and is then baked for about 10W30min at about 350W 400°C. Thus the baking stage is simplified without degrading the characteristics of the paint film.
