Title:
SILVER HALIDE PHOTOGRAPHIC SENSITIVE MATERIAL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH0635117
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain the photographic sensitive material excellent in dynamic characteristics and small in curling tendency by stretching a polyester film having a specified glass transition point with some temperature difference given between the front and reverse surfaces to form a support.

CONSTITUTION: The silver halide photographic sensitive material has at least one photosensitive layer on the support made of a polyester film having a glass transition point of 90-200°C, and this film is stretched before forming the support by giving some temperature difference between the front and reverse sides of the film. It is necessary to select naphthalene dicarboxylic acid and ethylene glycol as the main materials of the polyester, especially, to use polyethylene-2,6-naphthalene dicarboxylate (PEN) in order to obtain high performance as the support, and it is also necessary to treat the film at a temperature below the glass transition point by ≥50°C for 0. l-1500hr and to control the temperature difference at the time of stretching to be 10-100°C.
