PURPOSE: To obtain an electronic device by organically and electronically combining, constituting and controlling a computing function, an electronic tuning radio receiving function, and a clocking function.
CONSTITUTION: An electronic device having a display device DSP, a mode changeover switch S4, setting keys S5 and S6, a volume control S7 as shown in the figure functions as a radio receiver, a computer, a timer, etc., under the control of one microprocessor. Setting keys S5 are used in common for the setting of a tuning frequency of the radio receiver and for the registration of the computer, and a register which performs arithmetic as the computer computes even data to be sent to a tuning PLL. These tuning data are written, channel by channel, in channel memories which are not shown in the figure, and read successively at certain intervals of time with a channel scanning key CHSCAN among the setting keys S6 or individually with keys CH1∼CH6 which correspond to channels.
