Abstract:
PURPOSE: To use the shield for a high-density electric connector for interconnecting an electronic circuit and/or an electronic part electrically and mechanically and to suppress the cross talk at the connector by providing the specified configuration. CONSTITUTION: A first linking end 232, which is linked to the connecting part of a corresponding terminal, a first terminal 234, a second terminal 236, which is connected to the first terminal 234 through a bent part 244, and a second linking terminal part 238, which is linked to a circuit assembly, are provided. Furthermore, a first shield member 240 is integrally electrically connected to first flange parts 246 and 250. A second shield member 242 is integrally electrically connected to second flange parts 248 and 252. For the first shield member 240 and the second shield member 242 and the first end part 234 and the second terminal 236, a pocket part 254 for containing the terminals of the terminal group in the same longitudinal line as an integral grounding terminal/terminal shield 200 is formed. Therefore, the cross talk between the neighboring terminal groups can be decreased.
