Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of quenching caused by friction heat by forming insulated spacers so that the direction of the board thickness corresponds with the direction of a warp or weft of fabric to arrange them to right and left or right, left and up, down. CONSTITUTION:A superconductive coil 8 in a coil groove 7 and insulated spacers 1a-10c inserted into a rotor inside cylinder 2 so as to fill voids thereof are formed so that the direction of the board thickness corresponds with the direction of a warp or weft of fabric to arrange them to right and left or right, left and up, down. Accordingly, there is no void after it is cooled to a liquid helium temperature, and the superconductive coil 8 in the coil groove can be firmly fixed. According to the constitution, the movement of the superconductive coil 8 by electromagnetic force can be prevented, and the generation of quenching caused by friction heat can be prevented.
