Abstract:
PURPOSE:To improve the reliability of a central tube and weld and reduce the manufacturing cost of the rotor by protruding the fixing section of one coupling to a coolant preserving section side and the fixing section of the other coupling to a shaft end side on the driving side or driven side. CONSTITUTION:The title rotor is provided with a coupling 30, the fixing section 30a of which with a central tube 19 is protruded to the helium liquid preserving section 8 side of a helium end plate 7, and another coupling 31, the fixing section 31a of which with the central tube 19 is protruded to the driving side section side of another helium end plate 7b. At the time of welding the tube 19, the coupling 31 is welded to the inner peripheral end face of the end plate 7b after the end section of the section 30a of the coupling is welded to the outer peripheral surface of the tube 19. Then, after the tube 19 is inserted into the center of a coil fitting shaft 4, the coupling 30 is welded to the inner peripheral end face of the end plate 7a and the end section of the fixing section 31a of the coupling is welded to the outer peripheral surface of the tube 19. Therefore, the tube 19 can be welded even when the position of the coupling 31 against the tube 19 shifts in the axial direction and no thermal strain is applied to the tube 19 and welded section.
