PURPOSE: To properly trip a water supply pump by quickly lowering the output of main water level controller during scram through defining the constant multiplied to the mismatch signal operated from a main steam flowrate signal and supply water flowrate as a variable gain dependent on the mismatch flowrate.
CONSTITUTION: A supply water controller 15 is input by the detection signals of water level meter 12, supply water flowmeter 13 and main steam flowmeter 14 and outputs turbine revolution number request signals S1, S2 for turbine driven water supply pumps 4A, 4B produced with the P1 operation of these three signals by a main water level controller. By taking the reactor scram signal S5 detected when the reactor is scramed, a main water level controller output signal S18 calculated in the supply water controller 15 and a water level deviation signal S12 detected with the water level meter 12 in a water supply pump trip circuit 14 and by making the mismatch gain of the supply water flowrate signal and the main steam flowrate signal to be a variable after the reactor scram, water level controllability after the reactor scram is improved and water supply pump trip signal is output at a proper timing.
