Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve rigidity to a bending stress acting on a low floor part by constituting a vehicle frame, which is extended toward the rear direction of a vehicle body, of a lower frame and an upper frame positioned in its upper part. SOLUTION: A main pipe 12 is lowered from a head pipe to the diagonally rear direction of a vehicle body and extended horizontally from the upper rear part of the front wheel to the rear direction of the vehicle body. A pair of down pipes 13L, 13R are risen from the head pipe to the diagonally rear direction of the vehicle body to the bottom the main pipe 12 and extended diagonally upward in the rear direction of the vehicle body. A cross member 14 is fixed across the vertical rising members of the down pipes 13L, 13R and the rear end of the main pipe 12 is connected to the intermediate part of the cross member 12. The main pipe 12 and the horizontally extended parts of the pair of down pipes 13L, 13R are so arranged as to form an isosceles triangle with the main pipe being the apex and connected to each other by gasset plates 15.
