PURPOSE: To inexpensively provide the alloy body which has the graded compsn. of materials varying in coefft. of thermal expansion, such as diverter plate of a nuclear fusion device and other energy equipment, does not peel and obviates the generation of the warpage of a sintered body, etc..
CONSTITUTION: A powder mixture composed of the powders of high melting base materials, such as W and Mo varying in particle sizes, and the powder of infiltration materials of low melting materials, such as Cu, Ag and Al, varied in compounding ratios is laminated, packed and press molded and is then heated to the temp. above the m.p. of the infiltration materials, by which the powder mixture is subjected to sintering and infiltrating. The compsn. grades of the respective layers are adjusted by adjusting the ratios of the compounded powders, by which the thermal expansion adjusting member changed stepwise in the coefft. of thermal expansion is easily produced.
