Abstract:
PURPOSE: To reduce fluctuation of an image due to change of the environment by setting the surface potential of a photosensitive body made of a-Si:H to a predetermined potential.
CONSTITUTION: The surface potential of a photosensitive body made of a-Si:H formed on a cylindrical aluminum substrate by the capacity coupled type plasma CVD method is set to a potential near the min. satd. electrostatically chargeable potential of the a-Si:H photosensitive layer. As a result, fluctuation of an image due to changes of the environment is reduced.
