PURPOSE: To prevent electrical parts for controls from being exposed to high- temperature, high-humidity air to improve the reliability of the electrical parts by installing a control box in a housing space which is separated from an air- passage space in an air duct on the delivery side of a heat exchanger.
CONSTITUTION: An external casing 1 has an air suction port 1b, an air delivery port 1c and an air duct 1d formed between the two ports 1b and 1c, and a heat exchanger 2 is installed in the air duct 1d. At the heat exchanger 2, air supplied by a fan 3 exchanges heat with a heating medium and the conditioned air 20a is then humidified by a humidifier 4. A housing space 18 is provided in the air duct 1d on the delivery side of the heat exchanger 2 but separated from the air passage space in the air duct 1d by the humidifier 4 and a partition wall 21, and a control box 19 is installed in the housing space 18 to accommodate electrical parts for controls. Installed in the housing space 18 which is separated from the air passage space in the air duct 1d on the delivery side of the heat exchanger 2 by the partition wall 21, the control box 19 is isolated from the high-temperature, high-humidity air 20a which is humidified by the humidifier.
