Abstract:
PURPOSE:To accurately mount an LED at the position on a work for a light emitting display unit by providing a paste coating mechanism which coats conductive paste on the prescribed mounting unit of the work by numerical control without using a screen. CONSTITUTION:An X-Y stage 21 is controlled to be driven by X-direction and Y-direction drive units 22, 23. The first and second work chucks 24, 25 for fixing a work 1 for a light emitting display unit are provided on the stage 21. A dispenser 27 discharges silver paste to mount an LED chip on the work 1 from a nozzle 27' in cooperation with the control movement of the X-Y stage. A dicing sheet, on which LED pellets 3 arranged regularly are bonded on the adhesive surface, is provided at a cassette ring 32 which can be controlled to be movable in X-Y directions under a mounting unit 28.
