PURPOSE: To reduce the number of parts as well as manufacturing processes and improve an appearance by a method wherein a mirror case is welded on the surface of the main body previously and a pad member and a surface skin member are laminated on the rear face of a core member, to which the mirror is fixed, thereafter, both of the half bodies are laminated and the outer peripheries are welded.
CONSTITUTION: Parts are arranged on the fixed-side metal mold of a first high-frequency welder in the order of the mirror case 7, pad members 6, 2, skin member 4 and lid 8, then, welding is effected by the welder by moving a movable metal mold along the frames of each openings 2a, 4a and, thus, the half body of the sun visor is obtained. On the other hand, the pad member 3 and the skin member 5 are laminated on the lower surface of the core member, to which the mirror 10 is attached integrally, then it is arranged on the fixed-side metal mold of the second welder and the movable side metal mold is engaged with the fixed mold by arranging the half body of the sun visor so that the mirror 10 of the sun visor is just fitted into the frame of the mirror case 7, the skin members 4, 5 are welded at the outer peripheral rim and the integrated sun visor may be obtained. Accordingly, a vacuum forming process or a mechanical fixing means are not necessitated, the forming may be effected accurately by only welding using a welder and the appearance may be improved.
