Abstract:
PURPOSE:To produce sheet-like base material having large adhesive force by a method wherein surface laminating base material made of resin, the melting point of which is lower than that of woven fabric base material, is fusion-bonded to the gaps of the groove-like indented surface of the woven fabric base material made of stretched yarn. CONSTITUTION:Woven fabric base material 1 is produced by stretched yarns 2, each of which is made of mixture of polyoefin such as polyethylene, polypropylene or the like or different polyolefines and has groove-like indented surface. Surface laminating base materials 3, each of which is made of resin having the melting point lower than the melting point of the base material 1, is thermally fusion-bonded by means of the gaps formed by the groove-like indentation of stretched yarns 2 on the surface of the woven fabric base material 1 so as to produce sheet-like base material. Since the fusion bonding is realized by entering the resin of the surface laminating base material 3 in the entrusion space of resin secured between the warps and woofs of the woven fabric base material, the manually tearing properties of the sheet-like base material becomes favorable, when it is used for adhesive tape.
