PURPOSE: To eliminate vibration and improve the attachment removing effect of a boiler tube by a method wherein a support roller is constituted by a single rotary hourglass shaped roller which supports a lance tube from the downward, and disposed on a base stand which is rotatable in a horizontal plane.
CONSTITUTION: An hourglass-shaped roller 400 supporting the lance tube 7 is supported by a pair of bearings 401 and 402 and mounted on a lower flat plate 311. The lower flat plate 311 and a flat plate 312 have an elongated through- hole 316 of the same shape, and these plates 311 and 312 are aligned with each other by aligning these holes 316. A pin 317 projected upwardly from a bottom plate 301 of a channel-shaped beam is inserted, and therefore, the roller 400 can rotate on a lubricate surface 323 around the pin 317. The through-hole 316 is pierced in a slit shape in a line b-b direction around a point of intersection 420 of the axial line a-a of the support roller 400 and the line b-b which is perpendicular to the line a-a. The pin 317 which engages with the through-hole 316 can move between the points 421 and 422, and around the pin 317 at the respective points the support roller 400 can rotate.
