Abstract:
A ski binding comprises a front jaw, a heel grip and a connecting element extending in the longitudinal direction of the ski between the front jaw and the heel grip. The heel grip is arranged at the rear end of the connecting element and is slidingly guided in a guide rail secured to the ski. When the ski binding is assembled, the front jaw is fastened, together with its support, directly on the upper surface of the ski. To permit the ski to flex freely when traversing depressions with boots of all sizes, the connecting element (3) extends unguided between the front jaw (4) and the heel grip (5), the front jaw (4) has a locking element (8) to which the connecting element (3) can be fixed by means of a seat (1) in the longitudinal direction of the ski, and the heel grip (5) can be adjusted and locked relative to the connecting element (3) in the longitudinal direction of the ski.
