Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a control method for an automatic constant speed driving device which gives no feeling of physical disorder to an occupant.

CONSTITUTION: This automatic constant speed driving device is provided with a control means which has an updating means 9e for storing a vehicle speed signal generated at the time of generation of a cancel command signal if a canceling means 5 generates a canceling command signal before a vehicle speed signal which a vehicle speed sensor 2 generates converges on a new stored vehicle speed signal in a vehicle speed memory means 9a as the new stored vehicle speed signal.
