Abstract:
PURPOSE:To enable more efficient conversion and more accurate conversion into pronunciation symbols by providing plural networks corresponding to positions of spelled characters, carrying out learning operation, network by network, and converting individual spelled characters into pronunciation symbols by using weight coefficients obtained, network by network, by the learning. CONSTITUTION:Input character windows 121 - 12N, tutor signal generation parts 131 - 13N, and neural networks 111 - 11N corresponding to the positions of characters are provided and environment wherein the characters at the positions are presumed to be affected is inputted to perform the learning operation by the networks 11 - 11N. Thus, the networks 111 - 11N corresponding to the positions of the characters are provided and the character environment which affects the pronunciation of the characters at the position is inputted, network by network, to perform the learning operation. Consequently, the learning is performed efficiently and accurate pronunciation symbols can be obtained from the spelled characters.
