PURPOSE: To perform the automatic supplementation of a developer and the automatic switching of a heater adequately, and to find the occurrence of a failure in film conveyance during processing, by providing respective processing tanks with a film detector, a pilot lamp, a confirmation lamp, etc.
CONSTITUTION: The automatic developing machine wherein a developing tank 1, a fixing tank 2, a washing tank 3, and a drying tank 4 are provided with a film detector 5, a pilot lamp 13, a confirmation lamp 18, etc., allows an operator to know the current position of a film during normal processing by the lighting of the pilot lamp 13, and also to confirm the occurrence of abnormal film conveyance and know the occurrence position by the flashing of the confirmation lamp 18. By the signal for flashing the pilot lamp 13 or confirmation lamp 18, the supplementation of a developer to the developing tank 1 and the switching of a heater and a blower in the drying tank 4 are carried out automatically with good timing.
