Abstract:
PURPOSE:To restrain the centrifugal force lower and increase the strength allowance by a method wherein space rings divided in plural number and structured in reduced thickness are arranged in ring shape, further said rings are assembled with supporting rings divided in plural number. CONSTITUTION:A spacer ring 6 is formed in half-circle dividing shape, assembled with supporting a ring 7 pinching a shaft 3 from both sides. When an axis of half-circle dividing direction of the spacer ring 6 is horizontal, an axis of half-circle dividing direction of the supporting ring 7 is decided in vertical. The space between a pair of flanges 8a, 8b of the spacer ring 6 is connected with a stay, as it is called, structured in reduced thickness. A filler metal 12 is inserted into a key groove 11 for keeping the balance of a rotor. A protrusion 16 is formed on lower end both sides of said filler metal 12 and touches on the bottom part of the key groove 11, during normal condition, said filler metal has a distance deformation delta at the central part. Accordingly, during the load increasing process of a turbine, even the internal diameter of the spacer ring 6 becomes larger than the external diameter of the shaft 3 within the smaller range of the amount delta, the spacer ring 6 is kept without swing motion by the counter force from the filler metal 12, thereby, the rotor revolution can be stably continued.
