CONSTITUTION: Measurement of nuclear magnetic resonance signals 32 is repeated while the quantity of the phase encoding gradient magnetic fields A29 to be impressed is changed in order to obtain the three-dimensional images of a specific slice. The nuclear magnetic resonance signals 38 of another slice are measured during the repeating time of such measurement, by which the three-dimensional images of the plural slices are obtd. during the measurement time for one slice. The shim current values to improve the uniformity of the static magnetic fields of the specific slice and the other slice are previously stored and the shim current values are changed over in correspondence to the slices prior to photographing of the slices. As a result, the function to adjust the uniformity of the magnetic fields is improved.
