Title:
OPTICAL RECORDING MEDIUM AND PREPARATION THEREOF
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS6048397
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain an optical recording medium having high sensitivity and capable of performing recording in reduced noise, by simultaneously vapor depositing Te and a high-molecular compound onto a substrate to equally disperse Te throughout a high-molecular vapor deposition film.

CONSTITUTION: At first, a container 1 is evacuated from an exhaust port 4 to form a vacuum atmosphere. Subsequently, Te (or an alloy consisting of Te and Ge, Se, In, Sn, Pb, Sb and/or Bi) and the high-molecular substance on a receiver 7 are heated, melted and evaporated by heaters 5, 6 and vapor deposited onto a substrate 3 (e.g., an acrylic plate, a metal plate or a glass plate). By this method, a high-molecular vapor deposition film 11 having Te equally and uniformly dispersed therein is formed on the substrate 3. A protective layer 12 is further formed to obtain the objective recording medium.
