Abstract:
PURPOSE:To secure the spontaneous circulating action of an apparatus by providing a spacer forming a refrigerant passage along the axial or circumferential direction outside a slot. CONSTITUTION:A superconductive rotor is fitted with a winding support cylinder 1, a plurality of slots 2 made in said cylinder and windings 3 composed of superconductive wires to be housed in said slots, and said windings 3 are wound into a saddle shape on the outer peripheral side of said cylinder 1, of which the inside is provided with a cylindrical chamber 4 for storing a liquid refrigerant 5. A tube 6 in the center causes a gas return pipe 7 from the driving side to pass through said cylinder and is at the same time an opening communicating with the outer periprery of said winding support cylinder 2, and said rotor is provided with a spacer 10 having a refrigerant passage 11. Further, an external wall 12 for sealing said refrigerant 5 rotates integrally with said cylinder 1. The refrigerant passage 11 at the circumference of said spacer 10 is divided into two parts by a partition 14, and the inner wall of said opening 9 is lined with a heat insulator 15. Thus, the refrigerant 5 in the cylinrical body 4 formed on the bore side of said cylinder 1 is divided into respective slot parts through the refrigerant passage 11 of the spacer 10.
