Abstract:
PURPOSE:To provide a superconducting motor excellent in efficiency by cooling a rotor to superconductivity transition temperature or under, and also, making distributed magnetic fields in the rotor part, and rotating the magnetic field distribution around the rotary shaft of the rotor. CONSTITUTION:Though a magnetic flux 4 is generated when a magnetic field generation means creates a magnetic field inside a rotor at normal temperature, at this time the rotor 1 and the magnetic field 4 are not rotating. In this condition, if the rotor 1 is cooled to the transition temperature or under of the superconductor, a part of the magnetic fluxes 4 which have penetrated into rotor 1 is discharged out of the rotor 1, but a great part of them seek to maintain the magnetic fluxes, which have penetrated into it, in their positions, being trapped and fixed by the center pin, etc., of the superconductor. Next, if the magnetic fluxes are rotated in such a way as not to change the shape of the magnetic field distribution applied to the rotor 1 as far as possible, torque adds to the pin center too from the magnetic fluxes 4, and the rotor 1 begins to rotate, too. As a result, an efficient superconducting motor can be gotten.
