PURPOSE: To simplify the constitution of an apparatus by integrally shaping a plurality of noise silencing chambers, throttle passages which communicate those chambers with each other and a flange into a plastic molded part, said flange serving as the rim of the plastic molded part.
CONSTITUTION: An emission silencer 17 is formed by shaping noise silencing chambers 24W26 and throttle passages 27 and 28 integrally with a throttle- shaped plastic molded part 21, thereby eliminating the need for separate shaping of the throttle passages 27 and 28 which are in conventional case fabricated independently of the chambers. A flange part 29 as well as the noise silencing chambers 24W26 and the throttle passages 27 and 28 is also shaped integrally with the plastic molded part to provide the increased planeness through the rim of the plastic molded part 21 and enlarged joint area where the part 21 is brazed to a press punched part 15, whereby improving the joint strength. Since the emission silencer 17 may be composed of only two parts, that is, the press punched part 15 and the plastic molded part 21, the constitution of the silencer may be simplified.
