PURPOSE: To provide an electromagnetic convergent type dynamic focus circuit for projection television, in which power consumption is less, unnecessary radiation does not occur and which can easily be applied to a multisink display.

CONSTITUTION: A first resonance circuit where a power supply, a first coil L1 and a first switch are connected in series, and a second resonance circuit where a second coil L2 and a second switch are connected in series are formed on the both ends of a resonance capacitor C. In a horizontal blanking period, the first switch is closed, the first resonance circuit is closed, the second switch is opened, the second resonance circuit is set to an open state and a charge is accumulated in the resonance capacitor C from the power supply Vi. When the first resonance circuit is opened by the first switch, the second resonance circuit is closed by the second switch, the second resonance circuit resonates and a pseudo parabolic waveform can be obtained.
