Title:
TRANSPORTATION OF ARCED PORTION OF STEEL PLATE SHELL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS5931306
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To quickly and safely chuck the arced portion of steel plate shell on a base ship to a driver by a method in which arced shell is vertically installed to a tower-like arced portion vertical stacking tool erected on the base ship.

CONSTITUTION: A block formed by integrally combining an arced shell 2 and an arced shell forming tool 3 is attached with bolt to a tower-like arced portion vertical stacking tool 4 on a base ship 1, and the shell 2 is transported in the vertically erected state. When the shell 2 is dlivered at a construction site, while the shell 2 alone is chucked by a crane ship on which a driver is set, a fitting bolt for the tool 3 and the shell 2 is removed out. The shell 2 is delivered to a setting position and set under a condition that it is chucked by the crane ship on which the driver is set. In the setting work on site, the arced portion of the steel plate shell on the base ship can be quickly and safely chucked to the driver without the need to erect the arced portion on site.
