PURPOSE: To electrically plate with a contact pin held to increase contact capability and corrosion resistance by integrally arranging a standing wall on both side ends of an elastic synthetic resin continuous belt-like body.

CONSTITUTION: Each contact pin 3 cut and formed is passed across facing recesses 4, 4 in a holding body and closely fit, and spirally wound while a non-fitting region of several pitches at intervals of specified numbers according to the number of pins to be installed in a connector is formed. The width of the recess 4 of the holding body is set slightly narrower than the diameter or the contact pin 3, and by fitting the contact pun to the recess, a standing wall 2 is deformed according to the side surface of the contact pin 3, and a thin film 5 comes in contact with the contact pin 3. For plating, by connecting a power source to the thin film of the holding body, charges with the same polarity are supplied to the all contact pins.
