PURPOSE: To reduce the necessity of the working precision of a beam clamp device for a transfer press, and to improve the connecting force.

CONSTITUTION: One side of an engaging pin 5 penetrating though a movable piston 4 of a fixing beam B1 is fit in a lateral groove 61 of a case, and the other side is fit in spiral groove 31 of a cam shaft 3. A clamp piston 2 adjacent to the cam shaft and a clamp rod 1 fitted to be freely rotationable are provided in a case 6. Then, when the movable piston 4 is moved left and right, the cam shaft is rotated by being forced with the engaging pin, and a clamp head 11 of the top end is rotated in accordance with this movement. Therefore, since the clamp head can be pulled out when the direction is changed in a recessed part 8 of the moving beam B2 even if the clamp head projects in the section T shape, the working precision of the connecting part may be low.
