Abstract:
PURPOSE:To provide a hydraulic cylinder which can prevent leakage of a fluid and be simplified in structure by coupling a piston to a head cover with an expansion bellows to be kept airtight. CONSTITUTION:A hydraulic cylinder comprises a connecting rod 4 for coupling head covers 1, 1' to each other, and a piston rod 2 provided with a piston 3 fixed to the end thereof through a stopper 8, which slidably runs through the central portion of one head cover 1. An expansion bellows 5 is disposed to keep airtight between the piston 3 and the head cover 1, and one end portion of the head cover 1 is provided with a hole portion 6 for feeding and discharging a fluid. By the pressure of fluid fed and supplied through the hole portion 6, the piston 3, that is, the piston rod 2 is retreated and advanced through the bellows 5. Thus, the hydraulic cylinder can be simplified in structure, and decrease in cost.
