PURPOSE: To obtain a daisy wheel which can easily print large characters for titles or the like and continuous patterns by dividing and arranging types of characters, patterns and the like so that they extend over a type part of a plurality of spokes.

CONSTITUTION: A type equal to the left half of the form of a character is provided in the type part 16 of a spoke 14 by a half character size to the right from the center of the spoke 14 while a type equal to the right half of the form of the character is provided in the type part 16 of the other spoke 14 by a half character size to the left from the center of the spoke 14. Characters at intervals of one pitch can be printed continuously by ordinary printing operation only in combination with shift key operation.
