Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a method and device for assembly of O-ring that prevent the O-ring from being twisted and damaged by reducing the rubbing of the O-ring against a work to increase the reliability of the O-ring.
CONSTITUTION: An O-ring R is inserted into a work 3 in the condition that it is installed aslant on the outer surface 14 of a guide, pressed partly into an O-ring mounting section 30 of a work 3 along the outer surface 14 of the guide by a pressing pin 4, and the entire O-ring pressed into the O-ring assembly section 30 is pressed into the O-ring assembly section 30 by a pressing member 5 with a pressing surface 51 in parallel to the O-ring assembly section 30.
