Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide the element wire torsion-correcting device of the doubly wire- stranding machine capable of stranding element wires in a state free from the torsion of each element wire by preliminarily imparting a torsion in a direction reverse to a torsion generated on the stranding operation of the doubly wire-stranding machine to the element wire.

CONSTITUTION: The element wire torsion-correcting device of the doubly wire-stranding machine comprises element wire torsion-correcting elements 8 each installed in response to each element wire on the transferring way of the element wire to the doubly stranding machine. Each element wire torsion-correcting element comprises a rotor 9 in which a roller 11 is rotatably placed on a shaft 10 erected in a direction orthogonal to a rotor rotation axial line (a) on the rotor rotation axial line in the rotor cylinder part 9a and in which element wire-guiding holes 12 are formed on the rotor rotation axial line in both the terminal rotor shafts 9b, respectively, and a driving controller 13 capable of imparting a rotation force in the number of rotations twice the number of rotations of the doubly wire-stranding machine in same the direction as the stranding direction of the doubly wire-standing machine in interlock with the rotor.
