Abstract:
PURPOSE:To achieve compactness and high efficiency as well as cooling through a plane by providing a thin film shaped etchings Housen element and a thin film electrode part on a substrate and by placing a magnet so that magnetic field is applied to a direction which is perpendicular to a direction of current which is in parallel to a surface of the thin film element and flows through the thin film. CONSTITUTION:An etchings Housen element thin film 6 is insulated and formed in stripe shape at a specified gap on an electrical insulating substrate 4. Then, metal thin films 7, 8, and 9 are mask-deposited so that the thin film element 6 is in series electrically, thus forming an electrode. Then, a magnet 5 is placed at both edges of the electrical insulating substrate 4 so that the thin film elements 6 which are placed in stripe shape in the direction of magnetic field, thus achieving cooling in plane shape since there is temperature difference between front and rear surfaces of the etchings Housen element thin film.
