PURPOSE: To enable a manipulated variable calculating means to exhibit the best performance at all times regardless of coal characteristics and the secular change of the coal pulverization equipment by providing functions to estimate the characteristics of the equipment by using the model of the pulverizing equipment and to automatically adjust the manipulated variable calculating means according thereto.
CONSTITUTION: An arithmetic means A which determines the proportional constant 1/T of the amt. of the pulverized coal produced by the pulverized coal production equipment with respect to the total amt. of the coal held in the equipment and an arithmetic means B which is inputted with the 1/T calculated by the arithmetic means A and calculates the correction rate of the coefft. of the manipulated variable calculating means C are provided. The control characteristics optimum for any coal are provided by solving the problem that the performance of the controller of the equipment is not sufficiently exhibited by the difference in the delay characteristics of the coal pulverization equipment by the coal characteristics according to the above-mentioned constitution.
