PURPOSE: To provide a magnetic bearing device which is capable of also suppressing displacement of a component except the primary component of the frequency of a rotary body.
CONSTITUTION: Through feedback control of the exciting currents of electromagnets 3a and 3b by control circuits 11-15a and 15b according to outputs from radial direction displacement sensors 5a and 5b, a rotor 1 is magnetically floated in a given position. Based on a sensor signal S1 from a position detecting circuit 11, displacement of the rotor 1 during rotation is analyzed by a CPU 21. By feeding a correction signal S2 generated from a result of analysis to a computer 12, a magnetic force to erase vibration of the rotor 1 at each frequency component is generated at the electromagnets 3a and 3b. This constitution suppresses displacement of the rotor 1.
