Abstract:
NEW MATERIAL:The aminopyrimidine derivative of formula I [R1 and R2 are lower alkyl or halogen, or together form tri- or tetramethylene; R3 is H or lower alkyl; X is alkylene; Y is phenyl which may have one or more substituent groups (alkyl, halogen, lower alkoxy, lower alkylthio, lower alkenyl, CF3 or NO2)] and its acid addition salt.
EXAMPLE: 6-Chloro-5-methyl-4-[2-(2-methyl-4-n-pentylphenoxy)ethylamino]-pyrimidine.
USE: Fungicidal, insecticidal and miticidal agent.
PROCESS: The compound of formula I can be prepared easily by reacting the compound of formula II (Hal is halogen) with the compound of formula III preferably without using a solvent or in a solvent in the presence of a base.
