Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a method for manufacturing an electrode foil for aluminum electrolytic capacitor which can obtain a stable and high electrostatic capacity.

CONSTITUTION: A process for treatment by dipping into an aqueous solution which mainly consists of hydrochloric acid and contains at least either of phosphoric acid, sulfuric acid. oxalic acid, and chromic acid and a process for performing etching treatment by DC current in the aqueous solution with the same composition after the above process are provided as pre-processes for performing etching treatment by AC current of an aluminum foil thus obtaining an electrode foil for aluminum electrolytic capacitor with a high electrostatic capacity.
